Colin Powell Supports Obama
Yesterday former secretary of defenese for President Bush, Colin Powell came out and said that he was supporting Obama in the election?!? WHAT? I dont think anybody saw this coming. Powell is a republican and served on the bush administration for many years. He made the first war in Iraq happen and him and the bush's were bff? So whats going on with not supporting the republican McCain? Does it have anything to do with the race issue...did Bush do something to make him mad? Or does he just agree with all of the other smart Americans in the country and can clearly see that Obama would make a better president. Scandilious indeed.

This was a stunning endorsement. Honestly, I don't think it was because of race. I just think Powell has felt that Bush admin and war hawks have ruined what was a stellar public image for him.
