Debate Countdown

2 more days till the first debate between the new canadates! is anyone else as pumped as i am? I believe the topic is foreign policies. many people think that McCain's policies are a lot stronger than Obama's....even if this was true Obama is a billion times better speaker than McCain. And i dont think there will be any proctor there for McCain to read off of again..cough cough...but anyway i think Obama's strong points are gonna be shown in this debate and after them he is really going to skyrocket in the polls...anyone elses feelings?

I agree with you that this debate will have a profound effect on the polls, and could possibly help Obama to break open the polls.

But you have to give McCain his due as well, although i agree that Obama has the better speaking ability, forigen policy is one of McCain's strong points, and this could possibly aid him.

Even if the brains and the ideas calsh and there is a tie, i believe that Obama still comes out on top.

The debate actually turned out well, with both candidates speaking well. I was actually surprised at the way McCain was speaking, as he sounded more enthusiastic about what he was talking about than usual. The questions given by Jim Laeher- sp? weren't answered directly, as both of the candidates kind of went on a tangent. One positive piece of news for Obama supporters today is that he is up 4 points in the Real Clear politics poll.
